2.26. Check of steering and suspension bracket

Check of shock-absorbers

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check shock-absorbers, having shaken the car up-down. Examine shock-absorbers on existence of leak in the place specified by an arrow. Check reliability of fastening of shock-absorbers.
2. Examine elements of steering and a suspension bracket on existence of damages and deformation. Check a state boots of tips of steering drafts (A) and spherical hinges (B).
3. Check covers of the steering mechanism for existence of cracks and traces of leak of hydraulic liquid.
4. Check plugs of the stabilizer of cross stability.
5. Undertake a wheel and try to shake it. If the free wheeling is too big probably spherical hinges of a suspension bracket and steering drafts are worn-out. Replace them.

Check of boots of half shafts

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Part folds of boots with fingers and examine boots on existence of cuts, cracks or other damages.
2. Check reliability of collars. Replace boots if it is necessary.
