3.2.11. Head of cylinders



The engine has to cool down completely.


1. Lower pressure in fuel system.
2. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
3. Merge cooling liquid from the engine and a radiator.
4. Merge engine oil and remove an oil filter.
5. Remove an airintaking branch pipe.
6. Unscrew spark plugs.
7. Remove an inlet collector.
8. Remove a final collector.
9. Uncover a head of cylinders.
10. Uncover a gas-distributing belt and a belt.
11. Take off driving belts of the pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel and the generator.
12. Remove a generator arm.
13. Remove the sensor of a bent shaft and the breaker distributor of ignition or the coil of ignition.
14. Unscrew the bolts fixing the pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel and arrange the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses.
15. Disconnect hoses, unscrew four bolts and disconnect a perepuskny tube of cooling liquid. Disconnect all hoses and wires preventing removal of a head of cylinders.
16. Remove camshafts and pushers.
17. Using the sequence, the return sequence of tightening, weaken in several approaches (on 1/4 turns) bolts of a head of cylinders.
18. Remove a head of cylinders.
19. Carefully clean an internal surface of a head (see subsection 3.2.10).


1. Carefully clean the joined surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders.
2. Examine surfaces of a head and the block on existence of deep scratches and other damages. If the surface is damaged not strongly, it can be processed a small emery paper.
3. By means of a tap of the suitable size and compressed air clean openings of bolts of a head of cylinders.
4. Establish new laying of a head by mark TORAHS to top and establish a head.
5. Insert new bolts of a head and tighten them in stages in the specified sequence.
6. Establish the remained details, fill in oil and cooling liquid.
7. Start the engine and check it for existence of leaks.
