GENERAL INFORMATION

Electronic control unit of system of airbags of safety (it is specified by an arrow).

The system of additional passive safety consists of an electronic control unit, two sensors of collision and modules of airbags of safety.

Principle of work of system

In order that safety cushions were filled with gas, it is necessary that the electronic control unit received signals from one or both sensors of collision and the safety sensor.

System of self-diagnostics

At failure detection the electronic control unit includes an alarm bulb on an instrument guard. In this case it is necessary to address experts immediately.

Maintenance of the elements located near elements of system of the airbag of safety

Sometimes, happens it is necessary to remove a steering wheel, the radio receiver or other element near an instrument guard. It is easy to distinguish wires of system of the airbag of safety as they have bright yellow isolation. Never disconnect sockets of connection and do not use electric instrumentations for check of system of the airbag of safety. Always disconnect system of the airbag of safety before carrying out repair near its elements.

Shutdown of system of the airbag of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator, then disconnect a wire of the plus plug and wait several minutes.
2. Disconnect the socket of connection of the module of the airbag of safety.

Inclusion of system of the airbag of safety

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the socket of connection of the module of the airbag of safety.
2. Connect accumulator wires.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect wires of the accumulator and wait several minutes.
2. Remove a glove compartment.
3. Turn off sockets of connection of the module, turn off fixing bolts and remove the safety airbag module.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
