12:21. Heater of back glass

GENERAL INFORMATION

Small ruptures of heating elements of a heater of back glass can be eliminated, without removing back glass.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a heater safety lock, the switch, the relay and connecting wires.
	2. Wrap up voltmeter probes aluminum foil. Concern the plus probe of the voltmeter of the plus party of a lattice.
	3. The negative probe check tension in the center of each of heating elements. If tension makes 5 Volts, the heating element as it should be means. If the high voltage (10–12 Volts), so an element has a gap between the middle and the plus party. If voltage of 0 Volts, an element has a gap between the middle and the minus party.
	4. For search of the place of a gap concern the plus probe of the voltmeter of the positive plug of a heater. Press the negative probe to the plus end of a heating element and carry out the probe to the minus party of an element. The point in which tension will appear is the place of a gap.

Repair

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Use the special repair kit including conducting structure.
	2. Put a strip of conducting structure to the place of a gap. Wait 24 hours before use of a heater.
