MODEL 1993-1997 OF YEARS OF RELEASE

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check that between the B+ plug of the bigger socket of connection of the distributor of ignition and the minus plug of the accumulator there was accumulator tension (see rice. Sockets of connection of sensors of situation cranked / camshaft).

2. Remove the distributor of ignition and connect into place bigger of two sockets of connection.

3. Connect the voltmeter installed on measurement of alternating voltage to 5 Volts to the CID and GRD plugs. Rotating a distributor shaft, check that for one whole revolution of the shooter of the voltmeter deviated once. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.

Replacement

On these models the sensor of position of the camshaft is not subject to replacement separately from the ignition distributor.

MODELS OF 1998 OF RELEASE

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check that resistance between plugs of the socket of connection of the sensor (see rice. Sockets of connection of sensors of situation cranked / the camshaft) about 950-1250 Ohms on models with the four-cylinder engine and about 550 Ohms on models with the six-cylinder engine made. Replace the sensor if it is necessary.

Replacement

MODELS WITH THE 4-CYLINDER ENGINE

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor, turn off a fixing bolt and remove the sensor.
2. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

MODELS WITH THE 6-CYLINDER ENGINE

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Take off a gear belt and a pulley of the camshaft.

2. Disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor, turn off a fixing bolt and remove the sensor.

3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
