6.2.7. Sensor of temperature of cooling liquid

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arrangement of the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (model with the 6-cylinder engine)

The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid is a thermistor, i.e. its resistance decreases at temperature increase of the sensor.

Check that sensor resistance at the room temperature made about 2200-2700 Ohms. Heat the sensor to temperature of 80 °C and check that its resistance decreased to 290–350 Ohms. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the socket of connection and accurately unscrew the sensor.

2. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
