Sockets of connection of sensors of situation cranked / camshaft

1. It is not used
2. It is not used
3. The sensor of provision of a bent shaft installed on the block of cylinders
4. Sensor of position of the camshaft of the Mazda models of 1998 of release

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
The N1 sensor (it is located on the ignition distributor)
1. Remove the distributor of ignition and connect into place bigger of two sockets of connection.
2. Connect the voltmeter to the CKP1 and GRD plugs. Rotating a distributor shaft, check that for one whole revolution of the shooter of the voltmeter deviated 4 times on models with the four-cylinder engine and 6 times on models with the 6-cylinder engine.
3. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.
The N2 sensor (it is located on the block of cylinders)
4. Measure a gap between the sensor (it is specified by an arrow) and a gear castor on cranked to a shaft. It has to make 0,5–1,5 mm.
5. Check that resistance between plugs A and B of the socket of connection of the sensor made about 550 Ohms. Replace the sensor if it is necessary.

Replacement (N2 sensor)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Disconnect the socket of connection of the sensor, turn off fixing bolts and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
