6.2.15. System of additional air supply on low turns

GENERAL INFORMATION

For models with the 6-cylinder engine.

This system consists of two vacuum diaphragms (the first is located near an inlet collector, the second – behind the case of a butterfly valve), two electromagnetic valves and three additional butterfly valves, two of which are connected together.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Warm up the engine. Open a butterfly valve for a second and check that drafts of vacuum diaphragms (arrow) moved when opening a butterfly valve. If is not present, check a condition of vacuum hoses.

VACUUM DIAPHRAGMS

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
By means of the vacuum pump create depression on vacuum diaphragms. Check that during creation of depression on a diaphragm, draft of a diaphragm was involved. If is not present, replace a diaphragm.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a diaphragm. Disconnect draft from the gate, turn off fixing bolts and remove a diaphragm.
2. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

ELECTROMAGNETIC VALVES

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the valve and blow in a branch pipe V. Vozdukh has to pass through the valve (C).
2. Give accumulator tension on plugs of the valve and again blow in a branch pipe V. Vozdukh there has to be A. Zamenite's branch pipe a valve if it is faulty.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect vacuum hoses and the socket of connection of the valve. Remove the valve from a fixing arm.
2. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

VACUUM HOSES

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Cameras are located under an inlet collector. Remove cameras and examine them on existence of cracks or damages.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove an inlet collector.
2. Disconnect vacuum hoses from cameras, turn off fixing bolts and remove cameras.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
