It is possible to check serviceability of an electronic control unit only by process of elimination, or having addressed experts as there are no special tests intended for check of the control unit.
If it was established that the electronic control unit is faulty, it needs to be replaced.
Replacement
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. If the electronic control unit is integrated in the ignition distributor, replace the distributor. |
| 2. For replacement of an external electronic control unit disconnect connection sockets, turn off fixing nuts or screws and remove the block. |
| 3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. |
