3.7.5. System of recharge of the accumulator

GENERAL INFORMATION

The system of recharge of the accumulator includes the generator, tension regulator, an alarm bulb of accumulator charging, the accumulator, the burned-through crossing point and connecting wires.

During the work with system of recharge of the accumulator observe the precautionary measures provided for work with system of electric equipment of the engine.

Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. First of all, check connecting wires and connections. Check a condition of the accumulator. Check a state and a tension of a driving belt of the generator. Check a safety lock of MAIN and ENG INJ on the block of safety locks in a motive compartment. Check an alarm bulb of accumulator charging (disconnect the socket of connection of the generator and ground the plug L for inclusion of an alarm bulb of a discharge of the accumulator. Do not ground the S) plug.
2. Include ignition and check tension on the socket of connection of the generator.
a) Plugs B and S: accumulator tension.
b) Plug L: about 1 Volt.
3. Start the engine and again check tension on generator plugs.
a) Plugs B and S: 14,1–14,7 Volts.
b) Plug L: 13,2–13,8 Volts.
4. Check that at increase in speed of operation of the engine, and also at turning on of additional electric equipment tension developed by the generator on fell lower than 13 Volts and higher than 15 Volts did not rise.
5. Replace the generator if it is necessary.
