3.7.3. Accumulator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Accumulator
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator, and then a wire of the plus plug.
2. Check extent of accumulator charging.
3. Check that when giving load of the accumulator, tension did not fall lower than 9,6 Volts.
Wires of connection of the accumulator
4. Periodically examine wires of connection of the accumulator on all length on existence of damages, cracks or corrosion.
5. Clear contacts of wires of corrosion if it is necessary.

Replacement
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Accumulator
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator, and then a wire of the plus plug. Remove a fixing level of the accumulator (it is specified by an arrow).
2. Remove the accumulator.
3. Turn off fixing bolts and remove the accumulator shelf. Clear the shelf of corrosion if it is necessary.
4. Installation of the new accumulator is carried out upside-down removals.
Wires of connection of the accumulator
5. At a detachment of wires the first always disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
6. Turn off nuts of clips and disconnect wires from the accumulator.
7. Get wires from fixing clips (it is specified by an arrow).
8. The wire of the minus plug of the accumulator fastens to an arm in a motive compartment (it is specified by an arrow a photo at the left) and to the transmission (fastening is specified by an arrow a photo on the right).
9. The wire of the plus plug of the accumulator is connected to a starter (it is specified by an arrow a photo at the left) and the block of safety locks / relay (connection is specified by an arrow a photo on the right) in a motive compartment.
10. Clear contacts and establish new wires.
