| 1. Before removing a bent shaft, measure its free wheeling by means of the special device or by means of the probe near the persistent bearing. If the gap more than is required, examine half rings of the persistent bearing on wear existence if half rings are not worn-out, it is necessary to establish new to adjust a gap. |

2. Covers of radical bearings have to be numbered if it not so, number them. Unscrew bolts of covers in stages on 1/4 turns in the sequence of the return sequence of tightening. |
| 3. Uncover and get inserts of bearings. |
| 4. Remove a bent shaft. |
