3.3.14. Oil pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the oil pallet.
2. Take off a gas-distributing belt and an asterisk of a bent shaft.
3. Unscrew 4 bolts (are specified by shooters) and remove a maslozaborny branch pipe.
4. Remove the compressor of the air conditioner and shift it aside, do not disconnect hoses from the compressor.
5. Remove a compressor arm.
6. Remove the pump of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel, remove an arm of the pump and shift the pump aside, without disconnecting from it hoses.
7. Unscrew bolts of the oil pump and remove the pump.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a sealing ring and laying of the oil pump.
2. Twist a cap of the reducing valve, get a spring and the piston.
3. Unscrew screws and uncover the oil pump.
4. Carefully clean and wipe with acetone the joined surfaces of the pump and the block of cylinders.
5. Get internal and external gear wheels of the pump. Wash out all elements of the pump in solvent.
6. Examine springs of the reducing valve and measure their length.
7. If springs are damaged or their length does not correspond to technical characteristics, replace springs.
8. Establish gear wheels in a casing of the pump and take necessary measurements (see subsection 3.2.14).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take an epiploon of a bent shaft by means of the screw-driver.
2. Apply universal lubricant on a new epiploon and establish it into place.
3. Establish pump gear wheels in a casing.
4. Fill pump cavities with vaseline. Establish a cover of the oil pump and tighten cover screws, previously having greased them with sealant.
5. Oil the piston of the reducing valve and establish valve elements in a pump casing.
6. Apply sealant on the joined surface of the pump.
7. Establish a sealing ring of the pump.
8. Install the pump, insert and tighten bolts.
9. Establish the remained details.
