3.3.12. Forward epiploon of a bent shaft

GENERAL INFORMATION

There are two methods of replacement of a forward epiploon of a bent shaft. You can remove the oil pump and beat out an epiploon (the recommended method) or to use easier method described below.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Stop a bent shaft and unscrew a pulley bolt.
3. Remove a pulley of a bent shaft.
4. Take off a gas-distributing belt and an asterisk of a bent shaft.
5. Remember depth of landing of an epiploon and take it by means of the special tool or by means of the screw-driver.
6. Clean a groove of an epiploon and oil a new epiploon engine.
7. Establish a new epiploon into place.
8. Establish the remained details, start the engine and check it for existence of leaks.
