3.3.11. Heads of cylinders


1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Merge cooling liquid. Disconnect the top hose of a radiator from a branch pipe.
3. Remove airintaking branch pipes and the air filter. Remove an inlet collector.
4. Remove final collectors.
5. Remove the generator. Disconnect wires from spark plugs. Remove the breaker the distributor of ignition and the coil of ignition.
6. Take off a gas-distributing belt, asterisks of camshafts, a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt and intermediate pulleys.
7. Remove camshafts and pushers of valves.
6. Unscrew bolts and remove a back cover of a gas-distributing belt.
7. Remove branch pipes of cooling liquid from heads of cylinders.
8. Unscrew bolts and disconnect plaits of wires from back parts of heads.
9. Using the sequence, the return sequence of tightening, weaken in several approaches (on 1/4 turns) bolts of heads of cylinders. Prepare new bolts.
10. Remove heads of cylinders.


1. Carefully clean and wipe with solvent or acetone the joined surfaces of heads and blocks of cylinders.
2. Examine the joined surfaces on existence of cracks, deep scratches and other damages. At detection of above-mentioned damages the head needs to be processed in a specialized workshop.
3. Clean openings of bolts of heads by means of suitable taps.
4. Establish new laying of heads.
5. Establish heads of cylinders.
6. Grease carvings of new bolts with a small amount of oil. Insert bolts and tighten them in the specified sequence, using the instructions given in subsection 3.3.2.
7. Establish the remained details in the return sequence.
