Survey of precautionary lamps

Examine precautionary lamps, turning the ignition key at the switched-off engine and installation of the car on the parking brake. Consult with the authorized dealer of Mazda concerning any of lamps which does not join.

After start of the engine be convinced that all precautionary lamps went out. If any of lamps continue to burn, they need to pay attention. Precautionary lamps of the brake system have to go out at removal of the car from the emergency brake.

Precautionary lamp of the brake system

The warning of installation on the parking brake

This lamp lights up when the car is installed on the parking brake and the ignition key turns in situation START (III) or ON (II). It dies away after full removal from the parking brake.

Warning of the low level of brake fluid

If this indicator continues to burn after full removal from the parking brake, the problem with your brakes takes place.

If it continues to burn:

1. Make sure that the parking brake is completely released.

2. Check the indicator.

If it still continues to burn, take away the car to the roadside and stop in the safe place.

You can pay attention that it became more difficult to press a pedal of a brake or that it can fall below to a floor. In this case the brake way of the car will increase.

3. At the switched-off engine immediately check the level of brake fluid and if necessary add it.

4. After a doliv of brake fluid check a condition of the indicator anew.

If the indicator continues to burn or if brakes do not work properly, do not take the wheel of the car. Tow off it to the authorized dealer of Mazda.

Even if the lamp went out, as soon as possible examine the brake system.

Precautionary lamp of brakes:
Driving at the burning precautionary lamp of brakes is dangerous. This lamp indicates that your brakes can not work in general or that they can refuse at any time. If this indicator continues to burn, immediately examine your brakes. You do not take the wheel at the burning precautionary lamp of brakes.

Precautionary lamp of charging system of the accumulator

If it continues to burn at the movement of the car:

1. Bring the car to the roadside and stop in the safe place.

2. Switch off the engine. Check, did not weaken and whether the generator drive belt broke.

3. If everything is all right, the problem consists in charging system. As soon as possible consult with the authorized dealer "Mazda".

You do not take the wheel in case of easing or break of a belt of the drive of the generator. It can lead to an engine overheat as this belt transfers rotation to also water pump.

Precautionary lamp of pressure of engine oil

If it lights up at the movement of the car:

1. Bring the car to the roadside and stop in the safe place.

2. Switch off the engine and check the level of engine oil. If the level of oil is low, add it.

3. Check a condition of a lamp.

If the lamp continues to burn also after an oil dolivaniye, tow off your car on the nearest service station or to the authorized dealer of Mazda.

Do not allow the engine to work with a low pressure of oil. It can lead to extensive damage of the engine.

Precautionary lamp of system of adjustment of traction effort (TCS) *

It blinks when the system regulates torque of the engine and burns steadily when in work of system there is a failure. If it burns during the work of system, consult with the authorized dealer of Mazda.

Precautionary lamp of low level of fuel

It lights up when there are only 10 liters (2,6 American gallons, 2,2 British gallons) fuels. As soon as possible fill the car.

Precautionary lamp of the antiblocking brake system

If the control block of the antiblocking brake system defines that some components work incorrectly, it includes a precautionary lamp of the antiblocking brake system.

When the engine is started with use of the starting arrangement, unevenness of rotation is observed, and the precautionary lamp of the antiblocking brake system joins. It indicates an accumulator discharge, but not the wrong functioning. Recharge the accumulator.

Precautionary lamp of an additional security system *

Points continuous burning of this lamp or lack of its burning to misoperation of system in general. In this case as soon as possible consult with the authorized dealer of Mazda. The system can not work at accident.

Independent service of an additional security system or intervention in it constitutes danger. The pneumopillow can be incidentally involved and to become unsuitable. It can lead to serious injuries. Never interfere with an additional security system and always address the authorized dealer of Mazda for carrying out any service or repair.

If the anticreeping system works properly, this lamp will join at turn of a key in a provision of inclusion of a starter. It will die away after start of the engine.

If the lamp often blinks, does not light up or lights up and burns constantly, then it indicates failure in work of system. In any of these cases as soon as possible contact the authorized dealer of Mazda.

When the key is not inserted into the ignition lock, and the system of scaring away of thieves is included, the indicator will blink one time every three seconds. It indicates that the system functions properly.

with system of double locking

After involvement of system of double locking the indicator turns on for 3 seconds. It indicates that the system is involved properly.

The lighting remaining included

If you stop the engine and leave lighting included, then when opening each of doors the beep sounds.

Indicator of shutdown of system of adjustment of traction effort (TCS) *

It also lights up at shutdown of the control system of traction effort by you. If in work of this system there is a failure, it also lights up. If it lights up during driving, consult with the authorized representative of Mazda.

Direction sign

Lower the index lever down (for the left turn) or lift up (for the right turn) against the stop. The signal will be switched off automatically upon completion of turn.

The green indicator on the dashboard specifies which of signals works.

If the indicator continues to blink after completion of turn, return the lever manually to a starting position.

Signals of change of a lane

Slightly shift the lever up or down – the indicator will not start blinking yet – and hold it in this situation. It will return to the provision of switching off after an otpuskaniye.

If the indicator continues to burn, without blinking, or blinks abnormally, it can demonstrate burn-out of a bulb of the index of turn.
