8.3.4. Release bearing and fork of the release bearing

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the working cylinder of the drive of switching off of coupling.
2. Remove the transmission.
3. Remove a bearing fork from a spherical support, press on a spring and remove the release bearing together with a fork.

Survey

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Try to rotate an internal path of the bearing, having pressed on it. Replace the bearing if it is necessary.
2. Examine the release lever on existence of cracks or deformation.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fill an internal flute of the release bearing with high-temperature lubricant. Also grease vents of an entrance shaft, a spherical support and fastening of the bearing.
2. Grease with high-temperature lubricant a nest on the lever and the ends of a fork of the release bearing, install the bearing on a fork.
3. Install the bearing on a shaft and establish a bearing fork on a spherical support.
4. Further installation is carried out upside-down removals.
