7.2.4. Gear shifting lever

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The models described in this manual are equipped with airbags. Before works surely disconnect system of airbags to avoid their sudden disclosure.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the central console.
	2. Unscrew four screws of the indicator of position of the lever of gear shifting (arrow). Remove the indicator from the lever.
	3. Separate sockets of wires of the operating gear shifting lever switches (With – the socket of wires of the switch of the parking, In – the blocking mechanism, And – the emergency switch of blocking).
4. Disconnect a wire from the switch of the raising transfer.
5. Disconnect a rope of blocking of the lock of ignition from a gear shifting lever casing. Weaken a lock-nut and disconnect a gear shifting rope from a casing.
6. Unscrew screws of the handle of the lever and remove the handle.
	7. Twist fixing nuts of a casing of the lever of gear shifting and remove a casing.
8. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
