5.3.5. Fuel tubes and connections of tubes
GENERAL INFORMATION

Before works, surely lower pressure in fuel system.

Tubes of giving and return of fuel lie from the fuel tank in office of the engine and fasten clips to the lower part of a body.

Steel tubes

For replacement of tubes of fuel system use only steel tubes.

If you weaken connections of tubes, follow the following rules:

1. Try not to bend and not to peredavit tubes.

2. Replace sealing rings

Flexible hoses

Flexible hoses should not be close to elements of final system.

Removal and installation

Installation of a spring clip

 1. Fuel tube

2. 1–2 mm

3. Spring clip

4. Hose

5. 2–6 mm

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lower pressure in system.
2. Remove clips, the fixing tubes to a body.
3. In those places where rubber hoses connect to metal tubes, spring clips (shooter) are usually used. To remove such clip, it needs to be squeezed flat-nose pliers and to shift up. Installation is carried out similarly.
4. Sometimes in connections quick disconnect clips are used (1 – a clip; 2 – pads).

Repair

All damaged tubes and hoses need to be replaced similar.
