6.1.3. Service of the exhaust system

GENERAL INFORMATION

The final system consists of a final collector or collectors, the catalytic converter, the muffler and an exhaust pipe. Elements of final system are attached to a body by means of arms and suspended clips.

You carry out a regular inspection of elements of the exhaust system. Worn-out elements of final system are not subject to repair, they need to be replaced with new.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. For removal of elements of final system use impregnating oil.
	2. Apply impregnating oil on bolts of the catalytic converter.
	3. In installation time check lack of suspended clips (arrow).
