6.1.2. Maintenance of the exhaust system
Elements of the exhaust system
Regularly examine the exhaust system on existence of damages, deformations, corrosion or traces of leak. Check reliability of fastenings and replace them if it is necessary. At repair of the exhaust system use the following recommendations: 1. At removal of the exhaust system begin with a back part of the car. 2. Oil impregnating connections for simplification of removal of elements. 3. Use new laying, fastenings and collars. 4. Grease threaded connections with the solution interfering formation of corrosion and facilitating removal. |
